The RPA Journal is now RepatterningJournal.com (it is a keyword!)
I still remember the good old days, when being a Resonance Repatterning Practitioner bought me “cool factor.” In 2000, I was newly certified and living in Seattle. I loved telling people what I did and receiving their wowed and curious responses. It was something to talk about, something to enthuse about, something to be cool about.
A few years later I moved to Knoxville, TN to be near my family. Before I moved, my sister’s girl friend said Resonance Repatterning sounded sacrilegious. I worried if the Southern Baptists would want to stone me. I did have several clients interview me about such matters before they chose to work with me…but work with me they did. Rather than being shunned by the community, I became a star attraction.
It all started with some business cards I put in the little lone health-food store. The owner of the store had just built a luxurious, cutting-edge natural healing facility next door. She invited me to have an office there. Wow. Then the local news came to my new office and did a little “local feature” about Resonance Repatterning!. Double wow…hey, this was way better than Seattle party chats!
Sigh. Yes, those were the good old days. It was cool to be cool for a while. But then I had to go and move to Asheville, NC. Where everyone is cool (even cooler than me
). Resonance Repatterning? “Oh yeah, I remember that”, they’d say. “Yeah, we were all into it about ten years ago. Now I re-vortex DNA helix-spirals. Have you tried that?”
Fast forward a few more years and there are more alternative energy healing kinesiology type choices than people can keep up with, regardless of where you live. Now the response, before I even finish saying what I do, goes something like, “Oh yeah, one of those kinesiology things. Yeah, they are all basically the same thing.”
Oh well. So much for cool. So I’m less than a dime a dozen here in disdainful Asheville. What to do? Go to the World Wide Web, what else?
Ah… a bigger pond to network! I just happened to know… (You know… KNOW), that there are plenty of people out there in that big old world who would love and NEED Resonance Repatterning every bit as much as I ever did. Every bit as much as those people in Seattle and Knoxville did.
Now…what would be the domain name? I spent a year researching all kinds of positive, inspiring, possibility-describing names. Even launched one: creating-emotional-healing.com. But part of the drill is researching demand and supply and guess what? The demand is in the problem, not the solution.
After much gnashing of teeth and spinning of wheels, I locked myself in a very tiny pop-up camper for a week in a 110 degree cloud of mosquitoes in SC. And I didn’t come out till I found the words the world is searching for. Depression. Oh yes indeedy, the numbers are VERY good for depression.
Fast forward a few more years to 2011. I now have a site with over 70 pages – lots of them on depression keywords. I have about 450 average visitors per day. I have a practice. It goes up and down. But it is always there for me and I am very happy with the clients I attract and the results they get. It is a good thing, a very good thing.
My take on why it works? They want help and they search for help and because of my site, they believe I can help them. And very few (it is really quite amazing), very few pay any attention AT ALL as to how or what I do. They have almost no interest in whether it is Resonance Repatterning or Holographic or kinesiology or vortex DNA programming or whether I’m licensed or anything. Really…they just want an appointment.
THEY found ME. They searched the web and the search engine delivered one of my pages and that was enough for them. Well, it was some of the best they could find! You’d be surprised but there are not a whole lot of us great alternative energy healing types out there in a highly coherent way, available for online therapy. (I make it very affordable to discourage once and done thinking.) It is a whole different energy when they find you, they are already convinced they want help. Very often they are discouraged with therapy and are thrilled to find alternative energy healing therapy.
You don’t even have to have a website to do the same thing! The RepatterningJournal.com IS your website! Write an article that is based on keywords. Write one and then later, write another one. We can all do that. And eventually the search engines will deliver our articles to the searchers. To your future clients! You don’t have to be brilliant, you just have to care. And use keywords.
I am even giving away my very hard-earned keywords! Write with them and we’ll all get Resonance Repatterning on the world map, finally, once and for all.
HOW TO
1. Go to http://www.RepatterningJournal.com. Across the top thin banner, on the far right, click:
2. Call for Papers http://repatterningjournal.com/call-for-papers-2/.
Below the invitation, click:
3. How to write for the web http://repatterningjournal.com/keywords-guidelines/. There are basic tips AND another link with suggested keywords
4. http://repatterningjournal.com/suggested-key-words/.
In closing, I was planning on including a short demo article incorporating keywords. But I realized that almost all 70 of my web pages are examples of keyword content. So take a peek and then why not take a crack at writing a keyword page for the RepatterningJournal.com? Here is one example from my site: http://www.beat-depression-naturally.com/natural-remedies-for-anxiety.html
Will You Share?
The Resonance Repatterning™ Association Journal August Issue is about Health. Health is the second topic for this years’ theme of “Loving Our Wholeness.”
Health issues often block living life fully. People with health issues want help and they want to know how Resonance Repatterning™ can help.
What will you share with us about health and Resonance Repatterning™ What will you share with us about:
- Physical health
- Mental health
- Emotional health
- Spiritual health
- Vibrational/Energetic health?
We want your thoughts, wisdom, conundrums, lessons, frustrations, interests. You don’t have to write a full-scale article in order to make a valuable contribution. We are especially hungry for the topic of Vibrational or Energy Health (regardless of how it relates to Resonance Repatterning.) Any acupuncturists or other energy experts ready to share out there?
We are working on a published guideline for submissions but here are basic tips for now: Writing for the web prefers short sentences and short paragraphs. For articles 500 to 750 words is ideal, or 1,000 to 1,200 words for a feature article. Again, it does NOT have to be a formal article. Share an anecdote of any kind!
If you’ve got a hot one, it may qualify for feature status. Wouldn’t you love to see your name in cyber-print? (Wouldn’t you love the search engines to see your name (and URL) in expert published author mode?)
For the August issue, send proposals to me Laura Frisbie @ gmail.com, or call 828-337-5845 Deadline for completed submissions is mid July.

Mental health is more than the absence of mental illness, it is the ability to bounce back from adversity.
~~ The quality of resilience allows people to rebound from major setbacks even stronger than before. Healthy people with a lot of resilience learn valuable lessons from rough experiences.
~~When hurt or distressed, resilient people expect to find a way to have things turn out well. They feel self-reliant and have a learning/coping reaction (rather than a victim/blaming reaction.)
~~Resilience is more a learned skill than an inborn trait.

Our winner is…
Many thanks to all of you for your submissions to the first (but not last) Resonance Repatterning® Journal Blog Contest.
It was difficult to choose. We knew it would be. But there was something so poetically elegant about this entry from Yvonne Bost Brown (Perth, Australia!):
Using the Resonance Repatterning system has brought me to a point in my life where:
- I can take full responsibility and ownership of all that I’ve created and
- I can make new choices at any time.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, Yvonne. Congratulations and we hope to see your submission in our next contest. There are no rules against multiple winners.
(Now, how to send $5 to Australia?)

Our First CONTEST~! Plus the Theme for 2011
We asked ourselves what keeps us from being fully present in life. We saw it was mainly problems with core issues: Abundance, Health, Relationships, and Life Purpose.

We think telling people how Resonance Repatterning addresses core issues is crucial to inspiring people to find out for themselves.
And we think you are the best ones to tell them!
The theme for the May Issue is Abundance. The CONTEST is as easy as muscle checking.

RPA Journal Changes 2011
Our November 2010 Journal Edition marked the end of our quarterly journals presented in a print format such as the PDF style we have been offering for the last few years. The archive of all past journals is of course still accessible at the RPAMembers.org website under the section called PROGRAMS.
Beginning with our February 2011 edition, the journal will nowbe published in much the same format you are now finding everywhere online from the Huffington Post to your local newspaper - in a blog format. If you find yourself gasping “Oh no!” make a note for repatterning self for easy transitions! We assure you that only fabulous things will accrue to RPA members with this change in format.
You might ask what is all the fuss about this notion of blogging and how can our beloved Journal format become THAT? A few basic explanations may be in order. Blogs are online vehicles of communication that make it possible to easily publish content and engage audiences at the same time via their comments. Search engines such as Google love blog content as it keeps communications up to date and therefore they tend to give higher rankings to blog content. Blogs have been adopted by all major print and media outlets such as the New York Times, PBS News Hour to name a few, but are also recommended as the new basic tool for any business to connect with their audience and spread the work about their work by offering valuable content to readers looking for information and solutions. You can find out more about the nature of blogs at Wikepdia.org or the ‘New Rules of Marketing and PR ‘ from the popular media consultants blog called “Web Ink Now”
For RPA, moving our Journal publication to a blog format will now shift the membership benefits from one of receiving the quarterly journal to one of publishing a post in the journal should it meet the criteria, standards and ‘Call for Papers’ of the RPAJournal committee. The RPA Journal blog will be integrated with our webiste for the general public http://www.repatterning.org/ where members may more easily connect with a public looking for information and dialog.
The RPA Journal team of Sally Herr (chair), Nancy B. Martin and Laura Frisbie will be working with all contributors to learn what is required and support each other in making the posts that will contribute to our quarterly journal.
Our first publication in this format is scheduled for February 1st. Watch your ‘inbox’ for the announcement.
Your questions and comments are welcomed.

Call for Papers for the November 2010 Issue
The theme of 2010’s RPA Journal is “Living the Light”. The themes of each of the separate issues this year include:
May 2010: Mission
August 2010: Process
November 2010 (the upcoming issue) Connection to Source
February 2011: Transformation.
The journal committee received it’s inspiration for this theme from a mediation in Caren Block’s book, Healing the Systems– Family, Groups and Organizations. In this meditation, we are guided to receive nurturance from our ancestors through every generation until we reach the beginning of life. This life flows from the source though our ancestors and through us on to our offspring and our service.
What does Source mean? It depends on the individual. As in Caren Block’s meditation, it can mean our mother, father – our ancestors. It can refer to our mentors and teachers who pass knowledge to us. It can refer to our dear planet earth. It can refer to God.
Whatever it is, Source is something greater than us. It inspires us. It helps us stay steady on the path. It deserves our gratitude and our humility.
What is your connection to Source? Do you know someone who’s source of guidance has led them down an interesting road?
RPA Members are invited to write an article for the November Journal on these topics. Please contact me, Sally Herr, to contribute an article or share your ideas of a possible article.
Thank you,
Sally Herr

August RPA Journal
The August RPA Journal is now on the RPA Members website. The theme of the Journal is “process” and the cover is a visual representation of process as reflected in colorful brain patterns.
Karen Kent provides information about the latest happenings for RPA members as well as information on very important changes to the CEU requirements.
Resonance Repatterning practitioner and psychologist Shirley Lanyi has written an article about the practitioner-client process while Victoria Benoit’s article is on the process of transformation.
It’s the 10th Birthday of the Mexican Resonance Repatterning Practitioners Association and Maria Teresa Diericx and Alicia Balderrama wrote an interesting piece about Karine Boucart bringing Resonance Repatterning to Mexico. Nancy Martin reported on Karine using Resonance Repatterning with a business in Mexico City. Nancy also interviewed Karine.
Some of you may know that Chloe’s Repatterning workshop, Vision, is partially based on the work of optometrist Dr. Harry Sirota who recently died. Sally Herr has written about Dr. Sirota and the intersection of his work with Chloe’s.
MAY RPA JOURNAL
Mission or purpose is the theme of the May 2010 Resonance Repatterning Association’s Journal. The feature article by Sally Herr is “Finding Meaning in Life.”
