Certified Practitioners – Give your RPA webpage listing a new look
Certified practitioners in good standing may have their basic RPA web listing at http://www.hramembers.org/Membership/ListingUSACA.asp by completing step #5 or # (for a full page listing) at the association MY ACCOUNT Page. If you already have a listing there and have not looked at it for sometime, you may want to do that as part of an annual review of your promotional material. Be sure to update any email addresses, phone numbers or website addresses you may have.
One new thing you can do is to easily add in the hottest new feature on the internet – a short video interview as a website link at either the basic listing or full page website. This used to be more of a production than the average person could handle, but recent upgrades in technology makes it easier than ever. Here is how:
- You will need a basic webcam which most laptops now have or buy an inexpensive one for about $25-$30.00. If buying one, its as simple as just plugging it into your computer.
- Open an www.YouTube.com account if you don’t already have one. YouTube is now owned by Google and therefore the video’s logged there get indexed to the search engine so much faster. Your video will enhance your search results.
- Login to your YouTube.com account and you will notice a link at the top of the screen to “UPLOAD VIDEO” . Click that once and now you will see 2 options one to upload a video from your computer – great if you have one but if not…. choose option 2 RECORD VIDEO. When you press this second option you get a chance to comb your hair and smile then start recording. When done you can preview it, delete it or re-record over top. Record and re-record until you create something you like then press SAVE. The program will process your video. When the video is complete (could take 15 minutes) you can copy the code for the link and put it on your blog, or website as well as your RPA listing.
How to Get Your Video onto your RPA Web listing: At RPA go to step 5 or 6 of your MY ACCOUNT Page and paste the video link in your website space if you only have a basic listing and no website. If you have a full page listing you have 3 spaces to list your video link. HOWEVER, if you do have a full page listing and would like to have your video show up instead of a photo like I have done here http://www.hramembers.org/practitioners/carolynwinter.asp simply get the EMBED code from your video. It is easy to find at the YouTube Site when playing your video. Could You Make a Video by February 4th? - Send me your Embed code by February 4th and I will upload it to your full page free of charge as I will make a volunteer day of it on Feb 4th. Otherwise the fee is $30.00 payable at the www.RPAMembers.org/webstore.htm. (You can also purchase a full page listing there as well)
Email me if you have any questions – I am glad to help.

CEU Changes: Did you Hear the News?
There is an expanded list of modalities for continuing education!
This year, the Board back dated the timeframe for when non RR workshops and events could cover members for CEU’s. We can now go back to July 2010 for programs attended and if the program is on the list of approved workshops, you can get CEU credit for attendance. Follow the link for the approved modalities list and also to see how you can log your attendance on your MY Account page. Any workshop or program you attend, you will need to provide a copy to the RPA for record-keeping with the approved number of CEU’s stated on your certificate of attendance by your workshop host. Click here to see the expanded list of approved courses:
http://www.hramembers.org/BoardRoom/Policies/approvedmodalities.asp
Then to update your account and record of CEU’s, go to the My Account page at the member’s site. You will need your password to sign in.
http://www.hramembers.org/Membership/MyAcctCEU.asp
These are for non RRI classes earned. You will need to record the number of CEU’s designated and this needs to show up on your certificate of attendance. Instructions are located there on how to record online and where to mail your hard copy of record of attendance or, you can scan your record of attendance showing CEU’s to Josephine Rovari, the RPA Administrative Assistant. The address is provided on the website in this section.
We are very excited to offer this opportunity to support you in your continuing education!

RPA Community Repatterning for Our Professional Goals – Orientation Information
October 5th– Telecall with Ardis Ozborn and Guest at 7:00PM Eastern
Ardis’s Topic – “Let’s explore the potential of “magical” sessions. I define these as sessions where we are completely neutral and allowing the energy to direct us rather than attempting to direct it ourselves. What are the issues underneath this? Control? Power? Ego? Do you find yourself mcs for the same repatternings quite often while other ones never come up for you? Do you often go to the problem section but rarely intention? Do you always seem to mcs for a breath but hardly ever get an acupuncture point or mu point? Have you ever questioned your muscle checking; wondering if it is “right”? Or second guessed your response? Or checked a second time just to be “sure”? Let’s release anything that stands in the way of our sessions being as powerful and transformational as possible. For this to happen we need to hold a neutral space and stay connected to our own energy and the energy field of our clients. Please join me as we explore this new possibility. - Ardis Ozborn
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Login and scroll down to the bottom of the page for Call-in Details . Whether participating live on the call or by proxy, submit your issues and intentions to be included in person on the call or by proxy: http://rpamembers.org/Community/Submissions.asp (be sure to check the box for October)
